G-Project Gear recently released a new skateboarding photo series I shot for them this past spring. The announcement included product giveaways on social media to help promote the surfing and skateboarding photo essays I shot for G-Project. For subjects I chose some inspiring friends, and made use of a few incredible locations in Northern California and Nayarit Mexico. Everyone at G-Project Gear was very supportive of my ideas. They trusted my vision, were flexible as things evolved, and supported the photography with great design. Since G-Project Gear makes Bluetooth wireless speakers for playing music, I was even asked for my favorite reggae songs for a playlist on their website.

Below are the banner images used to promote each photo series.
I get excited making images, collaborating with subjects, and using different tools. Some of the gear used for this project has included the Fuji X100s, Nikon D700, D800, GoPro Hero3+, iPhone 5s, and several new software apps. It’s been an incredibly fun experience so far, and one of my most rewarding assignments to date. These shoots represent some of my favorite days with a camera.
Some highlights from the project:
Note: An extended photo gallery of my surf travels for G-Project titled “Quality Peoples In Nayarit, Mexico“ is now on my main website. If you have any favorite reggae songs please post them here, and for a great sounding Bluetooth wireless speaker that is kind to your wallet please visit G-Project Gear. Thanks for viewing.
